Office Depot is celebrating after the recent press release from the British Office Supplies and Services (BOSS) Federation announcing the finalists of the forthcoming awards.
As current winners of the Environment Award, we’re looking to defend the title in this year’s competition. In addition, we’ve reached the final for the Business Technology Award.
The BOSS Awards recognise the best resellers, manufacturers and dealers in the Office Supplies Industry. We were delighted to achieve the highly credible Environment Award in 2007, which we won for our continual development of environmental services to customers as well as our internal environmental initiatives. As our efforts continue to grow in this important subject, with yet more tools available to our customers, we’d be incredibly pleased with a repeat win.
This year we entered our Internal Communications Programme into the Business Technology Award. Our entry was based on the platforms we’ve developed over the past 18 months to improve the effectiveness of our communication. The platform consists of internal blogs, downloadable resources and “ODTV”, which is a new channel that the Senior Management team are using to communicate more regularly to a wider number of associates at one time. We truly believe that better communication makes for better motivation therefore better results.
The awards are taking place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London in October.
