Barrie Hayes - General Manager Sales UK and Ireland

 Barrie joined Office Depot in May 2005 in the position of Director of Strategic and International Business for the EMEA region. In this position he was responsible for developing our global and international customer base through the structure he created in Europe over this time. Additionally he has also played a significant role in the development of our geographical partners and the support in the acquisition and development of our new markets. He was made a Senior Director in the organisation early in 2007. During this time the organisation has seen significant double digit growth in our Global/International market.

He has over 20 years experience in the Office Supplies industry both in a business to business capacity and as a manufacturer in a range of senior management positions.

Whilst he has been working out of our European headquarters, Barrie has continued to live in the UK in the medieval town of Shrewsbury. Married to Isabelle, they’ve recently celebrated the arrival of  their baby boy called Josh. He also has two other grown up children. When opportunity allows, Barrie enjoys golf and motor sports and reading autobiographies.
