Nigel Edwards - Director of Realspace

After 10 years experience in the Office Furniture Industry Nigel joined Office Depot in 1997 as part of a new Senior Management Team, appointed to create a new Furniture Division for the group based in Hemel Hempstead. He was responsible for developing a market leading strategy to deliver a comprehensive product and service proposition across the UK.

Nigel then took on the role of Divisional Director in 1999 expanding his area of responsibility, During this time the division has seen significant growth and transformation. The business successfully relocated to Northampton in 2002, and in the summer of 2004 the division was re-branded Realspace. This allowed the business to develop a more value added solution and to break through into new markets. This in turn has seen the division enjoy breakthrough growth over the last 3 years.

One of his main rewards is working with his highly dedicated and professional team, overseeing their personal development and creating a real team ethic and, through continuing innovation, has enabled the division to expand and meet its goals.

Nigel lives in Cambridgeshire with his wife Lucy and two girls, Maisie, and Darcy, he tries to spend as much quality time with his family and, in his spare time, he likes to play badminton, keep fit and play golf.
